Burglary in Iver |
||
|
Thames Valley Police would like to inform residents of a recent increase in burglary reports within the local area following a report of a property being burgled on Pinewood Close, Iver.
The victim, a man in his eighties, sustained minor injuries and received treatment at the scene.
We are conducting ongoing enquiries and additional patrols; however, we are asking the public to remain vigilant and take appropriate precautions to help reduce the risk of further incidents.
Residents are advised to:
🚪 Ensure all doors, windows, and access points are securely locked, particularly overnight and when properties are unoccupied. 💡 Use timer switches or leave a light on when away from home to give the appearance of occupancy. 📱 Keep valuables out of sight and ensure sheds, garages, and outbuildings are properly secured. 📞 Report any suspicious activity, vehicles, or individuals in the vicinity. Even minor details may be of assistance to our investigation. 📷 Consider the use of approved home‑security measures such as alarms, CCTV systems, and video doorbells.
If you have information that may support our enquiries, please contact Thames Valley Police via 101 or submit details online through our reporting system. Always dial 999 in an emergency or if a crime is in progress.
We thank residents for their cooperation and continued support in helping keep our communities safe.
